but when a column starts "Like a pig in muck, the left loves to wallow..." I go no further. (Not to mention that it was written by Kristol who isn't exactly an unbiased writer) However, I asked my husband, who knows a lot about political history and has shelves of books on Vietnam, to read it, and he said it was rather haphazard Well, good thing you have your husband to give your opinions to you.

Kristol may not be a favorite of yours (nor mine), BUT we have to remember he doesn't want to ruin his reputation by being wrong. To many who write on the other side, that doesn't seem to matter...but to those on the right of center (and I put Kristol quite a bit farther right than that)....they DON'T want to be proven wrong. Heaven only knows it is easy enough today to find holes....we used to have to go to the Library and the Periodical Index to find articles and then laboriously, copy all the pertinent facts and documents down, THEN go home and type up our findings. Now we can google or other search for the info, and cc and paste. See the pics I just from from the last day of Saigon in 1975....
