And that's just because there are more and more of them, and they're mostly really poor. But it's an endemic societal thing. It's not so much that they're Latino, it's that they're poor, and we just in general don't deal with our poor very well.

I just don't see why they have any less of a right to be here than we do. They happened to have been born on the bad side of an arbitrary border.

I didn't mean that I think you're racist, but that the part of the country that's traditionally made illegal immigration a big deal has been so.

And we haven't dealt with the situation well. But I don't think the solution is to kick out or seal out a whole bunch of poor people. If I were in their position, I'd try to cross that border too, I think.
