I personally believe that if the Sunni extremists and the Shia extremists were to expand their civil war in that artificial nation called 'Iraq' (after we extricate ourselves from the crossfire, and take the target off of our backs) it would stand to be a VERY GREAT strategic benefit to the United States in the long term:

From the little I've heard, he'd simply order all the US forces out of the Middle East immediately, which I don't think would be a very good idea (despite what some others here think about it).
