And our children are always our children A fact that becomes more and more apparent as mine hit their mid-20s. That is so sad about your daughter, AC. OUr dearest friends' daughter lost her fiancé in a climbing accident two years ago, and it has been an incredibly hard recovery- for her, and, consequently, for them. I don't know why we ever think that deep connection changes just because they grow beards or breasts and hit 21. How wonderful that yours has gotten through the dark to look forward to the rest of her life.
