I haven't heard any contention. I've heard unanimous expressions of disgust over his alleged behavior.

This continuous discussion of the Idaho Senator's behaviour shows that the media controls your average person's discussion more than is beneficial.

The USA is a media driven country. Duh! There simply is too much "stuff" announced, broadcast, published or distributed which is labeled news but actually is nothing much more than drivel. We get it from the newspapers, television, radio, the internet, talk shows and magazines.

Additionally, the "news" is managed in this country by the larger media outlets. They hammer on the same topic for a pre-determined period of time. This is often followed by releasing their supported/financed poll(s) on those prior news topics. Their polls "reveal" that 50 or 60 percent of those polled believe that ( fill in the blanks).

They have done it with the war, with the anti-Bush message, with the current housing market, with katrina, with the Duke lacrosse players, with global warming. The list is very long.

Many americans have adopted the one minute sound bite attitude about life so find themselves comfortable in this environment.

Besides, football and reality tv are more important, don't you know? ;-)

As far as Craig goes, if he can't make a correct decision on whether he is guilty or not, he should not be occupying a senatorial office with a multi-million dollar annual budget of taxpayer dollars.
