Yah, but Greenspan used to talk up gold, too, then he turned his back on it with a vengence. Benny ain't gonna do a thing before the meeting, the economy's humming along at GDP 4%, durable goods are strong, employment's OK. He's got a once in a lifetime chance to stick it to the speculator's, and stick it he will......establishing his cred as an inflation-fighter and as "independant" at the same time. It's the Volkerization of Bernanke.....

If bernanke is no fool then he knows the problem delayed is a problem worsened.

since I do not be believe he knows that, he is a fool.
He is also a fool for his stated beliefs about the great depression.

There are many things he is a fool about.
