Too cynical; please get with the program, be a team player, do not be mean spirited, live and let live, per script of old Message 23845546

Hi Inc ....

this maybe to estoteric but YOU and I are the lenders
of last resort .... i.e. we are the porkEES .....

Who I'd like to pork are all the mortgage brokers
who have already BOOKED their commissions and banked
their commission monies selling [MR and MRS not qualified] mortgages that would let them see their dreams come true.

And Yes - adults are like kids.
(I know because I'm 60)
meaning someone offered them a dream - and they
rationalized down from there ....

Its beyond me but the guy that runs CountryWide
made $42 million in SALARY last year - not stock options -
SALARY. And nobody is coming after him or
[them] with respect to - were any laws broken.

specifically - did mortgage brokers engage in how
to LIE about income, etc. - in short - how to game
the system ....

They have already made - a clean gettaway ....
and have wiped the sheen off of the faces of all
those astute, adroit, erudite money managers that
bought all that paper ....

ditto for the commissions earned by the sellers
of that paper and the AAA bond raters themselves ...

The real funny part is - NONE OF THE WINNERS IN THIS MESS
ever used their own money.

I am envious.

No matter whats happens - you will not have a problem
finding a house with a lower price than today sometime
in 2008. albeit NYC and a few places like that will
be the exceptions.

regards,
John
