Plus there is a lot of big money being made fighting the war on drugs. They aren't going to lay down quietly.

That's no kidding.... Part of the immediate savings would be to quit funding narcotics units in just about every police dept in the US.

I'm sure big pharma has been lobbying against marijuana reform. I mean the patent for valium would be worthless....<g>
I know it's generic now I'm sure, but I couldn't think of anything else...<g>
