Thats the way its always been done! google.com Learning curves - behavioral finance - 5 monkeys - pick your poison - most people are lazy and like to copy and steal from others Most people don't know much about the history etc nor interested in learning about it. No one cares to learn the history so they will repeat the mistakes over and over and over - I get so damn tired of the incessant recursion into doom because so few can break out of that downward spiraling loop of a blackhole! Why do so few care to learn why so many risked so much in the past? Is history so useless for learning today Professor Moo? I once got in a big fight with some fellow CS bums at GA tech about the proper algorithm for a certain project we were working on - turns out we were all inefficient - some biology undergrad comes along with some biological "simulated life" algorithm that makes all the rest of us look dumb. He goes on to make mega mega millions! He approached things from a completely different angle - there once was this guy at IBM who wore different colored socks to work everyday - we all really believed his mother dressed him before he left the house - but he had mathematical abilities that teams of PHd's couldn't seem to match. Some people have that ability to think outside da box. Were things really so different back a few hundred years ago that people were willing to pick up guns and risk life and shoot authority figures to escape some oppression? What would it take for you to pick up a gun MOO and start shooting some people? I really don't think you have it in you - I think you can be choked to death fairly easily and you will accept it and never rise up against the dying of the light. I think a group of people could take away many more massive amount of your personal rights and liberties, tax you into oblivion, reduce your standard of living 10 fold, and as long as your fellow man was down there suffering with you - you would not have the guts to pick up a gun and be a martyr - so sad - I have little hope for you Professor Moo - I think if we sent you back in a time machine to stand with george washington - you would say WHAT? Starve to death crossing a frozen river to fight a better armed force - RU NUTZ? I think you would walk away Moo. I once had this jewish professor that came to history class dressed as hitler - he said his people PROVED how easy it is to shaft someone as long as his fellow man is getting the same shaft, no one really wanted to be a martyr - so hitler killed 6 million of his people - where are the jews that will stand up and risk their life to go kill a murderous psychopath? Not you, you are too weak willed for that. The jewish history professor said he wouldn't either, most people wouldn't, we just aren't wired to be different from the group. Lemmings seem to have such a dull pointless life no? Don't be like Sir Paul - make sure you get that ironclad prenup! Don't be a lemming! Most other men may be suckers and let their future wife take half their stuff - but I know you are smarter than that Professor Moo - after your millions come in you will still have enough to afford an entourage - wether your pirate wife leaves you or not! (snicker) Like my granpappy used to say - benjamin will always be there for you - long after yer wife has run off with your cousin! The biggest mistake one of the great researchers in AI that helped develop technologies for GOOG made was to not get that prenup and invest too much of himself in a failed pirate wife! Don't be a lemming! Learn from history, just because every other sucker man wants to listen at zues628 and give half their stuff away to some evil pirate - doesn't mean you have too!!
