4195835.0/3145727.0 = 1.333 820 449 136 241 002 477 328 770 106 2
4195835.0/3145727.0 = 1.333 820 449 136 241 000 (Correct value)
4195835.0/3145727.0 = 1.333 739 068 902 037 589 (Flawed Pentium)

Hmmm, I guess the "correct value" is rounded down?

I see. I understood it so that not only a fraction of the stepping is affected from the bug and also there is a microcode-patch for this bug. If so all such code would show whether you have a bios with an appropriate patch for it - which you can find out by just looking at the bios version.
But then, maybe i have a misconception here.
