Anybody bought a cup of coffee in London recently?

yep here, last Tuesday, and I'm just filling an expense report.

allinlondon.co.uk

28/8/07.

EAT,
18 Lower Regent Street.

1 Tl Latte............. £1:80
1 B'Berry Muffin...£1:30
..............................=====
Total.....................£3:10
VAT paid.............£0:27

I thought that was a real bargain, same price as anywhere else except the quality was first class and it was served with a smile.

Unusual for central London from memory.

Yep, and it all depends on the Fed. Let's hope the Fed does
not cut 100 bp in 3 months like the Fed funds futures are now
predicting or we see another drop. Anything is undervalued
against the Euro and especially the BP, but the Yen could
march higher.
