Same here, The states can require the auto manufacturers to produce vehichles that will be to the state standards, because the manufacturers representatives must acquire a state/city license in order to sell the product. The state has a right to protect the citizens when it comes to health, safety, and competitive practices by manufacturers. The end result, the car manufacturing community must either lobby in all 52 states or comply. Either way it will cost them money, and time..... They need to comply.
