Kennie doesn't want a solution THAT simple. Because then, as you point out, the Dems have to admit their responsibility for the consequences of their acts. And that could be BAAAAAD! Hitler laid out his plans in "Mein Kampf". No one believed he could really mean it. After Germany was beaten and the death camps were found, there was no place to hide. OBL has made quite clear his intentions. Kennie and his fellow Dems don't want to believe him, in spite of evidence that he and his followers very much mean it.
