Skeeter.

where does that leave the poor and middle class if we pay as we go?<

I don't want to reduce taxes on the rich. I want to change their form of taxation. This would obviously be a very complex task and outside my range other than in theoretical sense. The goal would simply be to not punish saving and investing (which IMO would be smart economically) and to tax consumption (which IMO would also be smart economically). The trick would be net to two out equally and make sure the scheme is not regressive.
