Don't you agree then, that trigger locks are a matter of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY rather than something to enforced by law?

Consider a very plausible hypothetical: your house gets burgled, and the cops come to "investigate." They find a gun without trigger locks, and YOU get arrested for "careless use of a firearm."

Furthermore, I strongly disagree with Rudy's position that states and localities can make whatever gun laws they please. That would mean that crossing county or municipality boundaries could subject people to arrest for something that's perfectly legal in their home location, like carrying a loaded gun in the glove compartment.

Nope, Rudy's just not strong enough on the issuer for my taste.
