Tim, I honestly do not see how a machine shop or dance hall or most of the other businesses I mentioned can operate quietly, for noise is the nature of those beasties. They and the others also attract great hordes of humans, of varying degrees of social deportment. As for my statement re appreciation of real property values, I should have made it clear that I was referring to residences. Most people who buy or rent property will not willingly choose to live in the midst of industrial properties and will look elsewhere. - Holly
