Ali, this is the last refuge of the incompetent. "It wasn't my fault, just bad luck". There were plenty of things that could have blown up in Clinton's face. From the S&L crisis to the various times he committed troops. But, because Clinton tended to appoint people with real expertise instead of just good connections, none of them really amounted to much.
