is there anything out there like this now (in Wintel-land)? All of the initial UMPC models seem to have quite a few flaws. There has been quite a bit of enthusiasm for this device, and it should be hitting stores in the next few weeks. youtube.com If you dont mind running Windows Mobile, the HTC Shift certainy fits the size requirement. geardiary.com I really havent followed this category of devices very closely but I think I am going to have to change that. That Intel demo looked very cool and I know Qualcomm's next generation Snapdragon processor is squarely aimed at this category as well. Most people I know hate carrying around their laptops so anything that reduces that burden certainly has a chance in the market. Slacker
