Geoff, What was a Gunny doing at a navy school? The only school I went to taught by civilians was instructor training.

Those Gunnys must really be something.....One son had a story that yours made me think of.....He had just entered college and ROTC....The Gunny got on the bus, and my son said the bus seemed to tilt immediately, just as soon as the Gunny opened his mouth. All of the new Navy ROTC guys were smart enough to know they weren't the boss any longer....couldn't hurry fast enough to get out of the bus, into line and were all at their version of full attention.... Wish I'd been there to see that!!! LOL!
