Wayne, You probably would have voted for Hindenburg and his party. Neither the Nazis or the Commies ever got anything near a majority of the vote until Hitler outlawed all other parties. I think we are diving into Fascism faster than any European nation. An author was on Colbert either last night or the night before and she outlined the 10 requirements for giving up freedom and becoming a fascist dictatorship. So far, we've only hit 10 out of 10 under Bush. Fortunately, on some, like making torture legal, we have only stuck our toe in the water and even a decent Republican, like McCain, would pull our toe back out on that one. Giuliani would push us into the pool. <G>
