Lame response.
and we should NOT give propaganda opportunities to the enemies of America.
So why are you still spreading your propaganda? If you have the right to spread propaganda, than everyone should. Unless you are a hypocrite.

I thought the fair way would be to let the accused defend himself before convicting him and a whole country to death by bombing.

Musharraf, when he comes to India, gets to speak his mind, even though:

- He is the head of an islamic nation
- Pakistan and India have had 4 wars
- Pakistan has nuclear weapons and claims that that they will use it
- Pakistan has not signed the NPT
- Pakistan has supported terrorists against India

Did Musharraf get banned from speaking in US forums? As far as I can remember, he was all over the TV being idolized. And there was no major protest relating to that...

>OUR freedom of speech is dependant on common sense, which is utterly lacking at Columbia. We DO NOT give freedom of speech to should "FIRE" in a crowded theatre, and we should NOT give propaganda opportunities to the enemies of America.>

"The idea of an intellectual exchange happening or any serious challenge coming form the lefty students of Columbia is absurd. A few leftist toadies will admire him for standing up to the Great Satan, and that's what will be shown on Iranian TV."

I am not a leftist toady and I would have liked to hear what he had to say, while a guest in our house. We can predict what he will say now ... we were afraid to let American people hear what he had to say, so we kept him from speaking to them. I doubt it would have been as you characterized it, but I could be wrong. If it turned out exactly as you say, I doubt it would have much effect.

RE."OUR freedom of speech is dependant on common sense, "

ROTFL......Nadine where do you live.....since when has speaking in public demanded common sense......

also please watch your spelling .
I believe you want to say "shout"rather that "should".

Nadine you are a totalitarian bent on smothering free speech if it does not suit your purpose.

What have you to fear from a "few leftist toadies"?

It is the toads of the right who would stifle freedom of speech
