Look at the map .iran is more contained than many know. But Iran isn't acting contained. It's acting like it send in Hizbullah to kill Americans or Lebanese whenever it pleases and nobody will make it pay any price. It's spitting in the face of diplomatic efforts to prevent it from getting a bomb. Israel is the least of irans problems.... I am sure drastic measures will be taken to neuter iran...but israel is only smoke in the eyes ...hiding the real stratigic issue.OIL If I thought the Iranian regime was rational I might agree with you...but they haven't been acting all that rationally and they sure don't sound rational. Rationally speaking, you're obviously right, Israel is a tiny country hundreds of miles away from them...so why do they go on about the absolute necessity to wipe it off the map, day in, day out? Is that rational? There are other motives for action in this world besides reason and self interest. Try religion. If you really believe that you can make the End of Days arrive sooner, that may color your decisions, doncha think?
