My husband's gout is rough on him. He tries all kinds of "fixes" which includes cherry juice and a bottle of laxative ( that green stuff that is liquid and horrible ). One pharmaceutical leads to another and he spirals out of control until I convince him to STOP self medicating and take his Dr's advice. He has a great Dr who gets him back under control...............his hard head and philosophy of " ah " gets him in trouble every time. The horrible pain of gout convinces him to do something about it. Men!!!!!! But then, they are from Mars, aren't they? :>)
