Its not a very meaningful stat. I'm not changing the facts. Your presenting the facts as something other than what they are. The facts show that the deficit increased more when a Republican was president. Not that Republicans are more responsible for the deficit. I gave very good reasons why the two are not equivalent. Perhaps the simplest being that "the facts" show that most of the debt was incurred when the Democrats controlled congress.
