That's why I moved money to Australia and Canada. Two nations, in many ways like the US, except the price of most items were half-off.

That has a way of correcting itself one way or the other.

Let alone both being natural resource powerhouses.

>>>Chicken lobsters on PEI were cheaper than bologna,<<<

Ah Nova Scotia. In '00, my wife and I toured Nova Scotia.

First let me talk about DC. There is an excellent Alsacian, restaurant here in Washington, DC - L'Auberge Chez Francoiis (TradeLite knows it I am sure). Back then two could get in and out with a bottle of wine for $150. Excellent, excellent fare. Worth every penny.

Back to Nova Scotia. We went to Sydney (Sydney Mines perhaps) one night. Had a meal every bit as good or better than L'Auberge for about $75. I didn't want to leave Canada. It was great.

Chicken lobster???? Ain't no such thing.

On our first night, we stayed in Shediac - L'Homard capital de la monde. Great place. You can see PEI from there. I have heard that PEI is a tourist trap.
