Well, we're back to Bill Clinton

There's a bit more involved than Bill Clinton. He's just another symptom.

don't come whining here when someone on the left says George Bush is responsible for Aids in Africa.

Gee, thats exactly what I expect, though I'd expect they'd through in Reagan too. Why would I whine about it?

As for Iktomi, I'm not sure why anyone should care what she has to say.

Thats a case of citing the horse's mouth. There are other examples, but she put it pretty clearly.

Or why what someone does in their bedroom with another consenting adult is a political concern, left or right.

Since the left is fighting to teach our kids in school whats politically acceptable in bed and to change the traditional meaning of marriage as well, that makes it political. If it was a simple matter of tolerance, that would be one thing. But they're not after tolerance, they're after coercing everyone else to agree with them.

is re-instituting prayer in public schools a goal of the "right" or one that you support?

I don't support it. OTOH I think people who are horrified by it are strange. We had that in this country for a very very long time and I don't think it hurt anyone.

Religion and the state, when combined, become the enemy of liberty.

Yeah, thats why we have the First Amendment. I will point out it doesn't only forbid an "establishment of religion", it protects the "free exercise" of religion. Have we had a history of religious persecution in this country - back before the leftwing cultural offensive of the last few decades began, that is?
