Beef typically retains its flavor when frozen for about 6-months. Chicken about 3-months, so you're limited on how much you can buy if you care about how it tastes.

Look you either shop smart or not.
I am not saying only eat what is on sale. I am saying get a freezer and buy what is on sale.

My freezer is stocked with chicken, beef, pork roasts, center cut chops, king crab legs, shrimp, pizzas, frozen dinners, fish, butter, standing rib roasts, rib steaks, etc all bought on sale.

If you don't know how to shop then you bitch about food. BTW I think someone told me that milk freezes. If that is a priority item buy gallon plastic jugs of it and freezer those too.
