AAPL may have done you a favor by waiting so long. You should be able to get Leopard 10.5 grandfathered into your purchase. You could make them give you the upgrade next month when it comes out. Apple policy is to give you a 30 day window, according to the people at the Mac store.

MAN! How much customization did you order?

The Online Store is saying 7 to 10 days on the 15" and 24 hrs on the 17". People have been telling me locally that the mall store is busier than a room full of girl scouts on cookie night, and yet they have the MacBook Pro.

What's 'a deal?

Why do you think it is the issue of demand? why couldn't it be the issue of production line problem?
