As for the 360 as a media extender, another neat trick. Interoperability is great :).

It really is very cool. I have been avoiding downloading music because I just didnt want to deal with the hassle of stripping off the DRM (this was even before buying the 360), but DRM free makes this a no brainer now. I doubt I'll have any loyalty though, if both Apple and Amazon are offering DRM free music the lowest price will win. This is an absolutely great development for consumers....and personally, I think that this is a good development for content owners and non-Apple hardware manufacturers as well.

I'm just hoping that we see something similar on the video side. I think things are a bit more difficult there though since they need to have DRM for a rental model. I just want a single implementation to be supported by everybody so I dont have to worry whether this week's episode of Lost will play on my iPhone as well as my 360.
