Up almost 20% in my IRA and 10% in my taxable account. In retrospect the August was not as bad as it felt like when i look at the net value of my portfolio then. I own a hodgepodge of different stocks covering almost all sectors but mining and commodities (except for some drilling stocks). Trading around some positions worked out very well for me during the days with insane volatility in August.
