Do you perhaps see yourself as having a religion of the anti-Apple?

i am not anti-Apple, although i am anti-Apple-poseur-elitist crap and anti-Steve-Jobs and hope he gets his ass handed to him for all the options timing stuff.

since i have acquired a ton of Apple equipment over the past two years as mentioned here many times, and have completely stopped using PCs after using nothing but for 15 years, the answer to your pseudo-question is probably no. but i do think Apple is a pseudo-religion, and is probably a significant religious experience to many of their customers. one of the hallmarks of religion is the willingness to accept things on blind faith.

What is meaningful to me is that the Apple products have been reliable for ME.

okay. but do you expect everybody else to base their idea of meaningfulness on what has worked for you?
