and anti-Steve-Jobs and hope he gets his ass handed to him

Thats the same emotion (which is based on envy) that many have towards many executives. Personally I think it is mostly a problem for men. Why the heck would ANYBODY living in the US be anti-Steve Jobs other than envy.

I have explained here, that the options thing is historical and has to do with giving employees the lowest price of the quarter. There isn't anything sinister about it, it was simply a nice thing to do for your employees and Jobs' grants were mixed up in the total grants (sometimes execs are included and sometimes not). It wasn't criminal or even opportunistic, it was just legacy, and stupid juries are outlawing something that was beneficial for STAFF. If you had asked executives what "backdating" meant, prior to this scandal, most would have said pricing to BELOW the low of the quarter. The low of the quarter was perceived as pricable for any options.

I think many men have real issues with this and this is why I don't think any of these executives can get a fair trial. Many people admire Steve Jobs, thats a fact Wyatt, and almost nobody admires you! Sorry, thats just reality. :-p

Those statements are music to the ears of us (religious?) longs ... You sound like an objective person ... with the means to buy lotsa stuff ... and have decided to switch.

I do have faith that there are a lot of persons in like situations, and so AAPL's market share cannot help but increase!
