Why the heck would ANYBODY living in the US be anti-Steve Jobs other than envy.

Forget the options stuff, even people who admire Jobs say he is an arrogant bastard. It isnt very hard at all to see why people might dislike him rather intensely.

I have explained here, that the options thing is historical and has to do with giving employees the lowest price of the quarter. There isn't anything sinister about it, it was simply a nice thing to do for your

LOL! i literally have more intellectual respect for the people who see the Virgin in a half-eaten grilled cheese sandwich.

Lizzie -

I received a private message about the fact that I had publicly warned Wyatt about getting personal on this thread, while I hadn't warned you. I was accused of employing a double standard in enforcing the thread rules.

The person who wrote quoted this line from the post I'm responding to:

"Many people admire Steve Jobs, thats a fact Wyatt, and almost nobody admires you! Sorry, thats just reality. :-p"

I had thought that remark was a lighthearted joke, and pointed out the emoticon at the end as evidence. I was told that the ":-p" emoticon is "sticking your tongue out" and "the equivalent of flipping somebody the bird."

I don't know whether you were serious or not, but in either case, the bit I quoted above does cross the line.

I note that just a few posts before you posted that, Wyatt said this to you: "The best I can say is that you never fail to disappoint." Thus, I can see that you were provoked. But I still would like to ask you to please not engage in personal attacks on this thread.

I do want to enforce the rules fairly here. Of course, since I am only human, and because people may differ on what constitutes fairness, I will never be able to please everyone. But I will try.
