MJ, your reasons may be exactly on target..

I believe that there's also Obama's own disposition at play here besides strategy..People who know him personally say it's a big part of it..

During the last debate, he chided Clinton for complaining about being lonely in her '93 quest to reform health care by telling her she'd closed doors..she got it..I don't think anyone has to put out a big attack on the Clintons..they'll be their own downfall..Clinton supporters have accepted a certain level of their arrogance but this campaign will see them attain new heights(Bill's Bloomberg interview an example,imo) and enuff dems will get tired of them..imho..
