The USS Liberty didn't sink, survivors existed, witnesses existed. The original plan had to be dropped. OK, the attack was botched because the ship didn't sink and there were witnesses but the existence of the "plan" shows that my contention was in fact correct that a conspiracy between the US and Israel existed even then. Of course, up till now no one knew about the actual "plan" but because of the US' reluctance to act against Israel for what was clearly a war crime there had to be something rotten going on we were not being told about.
