Elroy, you are pretty funny. Real estate holdings usually are based on NEED or WANT for the real estate. You can make all the insulting statements you want, but the premise should be that one buys/owns real estate because they want or need it. Your theory is convenient for insults, but the fact is, I've never met anyone who just owned real estate and kept paying on it or losing money on it when they didn't want it OR need it. If they NEED or WANT to sell it, the solution is pretty obvious.
