Sounds like some are doing an awfully lot of writing to try to hide what seems to be quite obvious. Bob Brinker as he has done before in a petty fit banned a subscriber and returned his money. In the past as I understood it he gave the whole subscription fee back. Sounds like he's getting cheap as well as petty.

Why would anyone doubt it for a minute? Anyone who watched him under his alias or listens to him on the radio knows he is petty. He alone thinks there is some big secret of importance in that rather bland newsletter that has very little new content from month to month.

He should be flattered. Outside of Math and maybe Pete I don't know of a soul that subscribes. In the old days there were scores of people on the internet who sang his praises.

Seems he is lashing out as his popularity reaches new lows on the net. Pehaps he ought to consider paying people to talk about him. Or does he?

Ms. Queen...it seems to me like you want to have it both ways. You say that you are not "casting doubt" on the poster who said the Bob Brinker's had canceled his subscription.

Therefore, I have to assume that you simply do not believe what I have said about it--based on your saying this: "I don't know if it did or didn't happen the way that is portrayed.

Ms. Queen...that's certainly your prerogative and you've made yourself very clear. But your accusation that I "made charges" without "evidence" is simply not true.

Therefore, in order to show that I reported the incident accurately, here is the paragraph that James wrote about Bob Brinker:

"I got an e-alert from Brinker today about the October MarkeTimer being available online but when I put in my info I got a message saying my information was no longer in the system. I called and was told I was no longer entitled to receive the newsletter online because I was sharing information about its content online. I was planning on not renewing my subscription anyway for 2008 but now I get a refund for the last 3 months of this year. Hummmm!"
.
Obviously, the good Dr. James received a Brinker-lemon and made lemonade. 8^)
