Always said that about my grandfather who was born in 1912 and died in 1989. Went from horse and buggy to air flight to men on the moon. Doubt we will see that much advancement in our lifetime. Might see as dramatic of a decline of our country however.

I still think there will be changes we can not even imagine today....cars driving in the sky....bucket carts as in Dick Tracy to zoom short distances.... perhaps a new power system that uses so little oil/gas, for all practical purposes, we will no longer be dependent on the ME or jerks like Chavez....Houses that will be completely solar powered.... maybe someone really bright will figure out how to desalt the ocean and use it in the desert areas....plus recycle water wherever possible...
