Yes, I was thinking the same thing. I must like risk, so I went for the Vista.

My needs might be different than yours, in that I really only run two programs. Even Vista should be able to handle that, and I selected parts for the build that have been reported to have acceptable Vista drivers.

If Vista is really terrible, I'll just shut down the old box and transfer XP pro until Vista has a new service pack.
