Tx. I don't like the scenario much though. It's only a possibility currently as there are still a couple basic technical questions unsolved regarding Samsung's PCM, PRAM:

1- Besides the following technical bits and pieces it'll be nice to know read/write bandwidth + latencies (especially for random reads).
a) Samsung PRAM: Message 23605203
b) Ovonyx that's the source of PCM IP: Message 22603385
c) Well here's a rather nice source so common I almost overlooked it: en.wikipedia.org

2- Is PRAM really many times more expensive to produce as someone here (you?) once said? I never saw it confirmed and the data that is available suggests a rather small cell size.

3- Is PRAM electrically compatible and pin compatible with other NOR chips?

BTW, I checked it once more: 512Mb PRAM is generally said to become available early '08.
