Petz, > If Intel's loyalty rebates reduced the average price of an Intel CPU from $120 to $100, but prevented the customer from being to purchase CPU's from AMD at $60 [because the loyalty penalty from Intel was much greater than the cost savings], then the loyalty rebate harmed AMD, the OEM and the consumer.

Tell me one one consumer who couldn't buy a $60 AMD processor because of Intel's rebates.

One consumer who was "forced" to buy a $100 Intel CPU because of Intel's oh-so-predatory practices.

Let me guess. "Anyone who wanted to buy a Dell computer with AMD inside." What, HP was out of the question?
