Political classes, all over the world, are all of them behind the times. Times move and are moving fast and faster, and the political classes are left, further and futher behind.

That em,ans today they are legislating and enacting laws, having in mind the set of circumstances of 30 years ago!!! This doesn't augur well.

Without war is also ‘game over empire’ because an empire must have money to buy social peace.
Social peace has a cost. Only places that paid for it, has it.

But note: Empire has only means to wage war. It doesn’t have money!

With the moolah piling up, the ones who’s got it –GCC south of Hormuz- can buy social peace tomorrow morning.
Mesopotamia plus Persia are both on the floor. No money. No peace.

The guys with moolah can buy social peace and get rid of trouble to keep making money.
War will only: disturb the money making and wastes money since war does not buy social peace.

An empire wthout money thinks only in terms of cannons. Thus keeping a region on a stage of war: (the all options are on the table thing) is good for empire because promts the guys with mooolah to spend them in cannons. Not in butter. But it is butter that provides social peace. Not the cannons.

Also note: no more money for World Bank to buy good behavior around the world... Also keep in mind those Sovereign Funds trillions...

Hi J,

I see you continue to have some interest in uranium. Could you share any thoughts you have on this sector? I am particularly interested in any insight you may have as to how fast China demand may develop and particularly how/when China will satisfy its strategic and security needs for this resource. I am really looking for something beyond what has been reported to date.

Thanks
smh
