i do not buy maple leafs nearly as much as i accumulate pandas. and i make sure i buy at least a fixed quantity each year

in the case of pandas, the designs are different for all except 2 years, and the year is marked on coin, and mintage is relatively small, so while current year coins are bought at spot + a few dollars, the premium rapidly increases 12 months later pandaamerica.com

they are lovely

the maples, as far as i know, are valued in asia for purity over the eagles, but the year makes no difference
