Pergo is pretty good stuff, I've been told. I don't have any of it. I have this ugly black and white checker board of commercial tiles in my office, the laundry room, bathroom, and dining room. I hate it, and I'm going to cover it up at my first opportunity. My sister pulled up an ugly carpet in her house and found beautiful oak flooring underneath. All the carpet I've ever pulled up had particle board underneath.
