I love my Pergo kitchen, but I have a 5 x 7 throw rug in front of the sink and a 9 x 12 under the table and chairs. The kitchen is some 16 feet, more or less square, so plenty of Pergo shows around the rugs. There is a slight echo in the room while on the phone, so I may need a larger rug under the table. But, I won't prolly do anything about it. The floor is a piece of cake to care for, but it will scratch and there's little that can be done about that.
