Just what do you think it means? You have given no comment other than to say my ideas are bung [without saying why they are, other than they are unfashionable and people aren't supposed to say them].

Why do you think nature has arranged that human females reach puberty and adulthood so much younger than males? What do you think it means for intellectual development?

No your ideas are not bung. For all I know, you may be right. If one simply took knowledge up to a finite point and no further, I might have to cry uncle. However, the NIH report came to my ex post facto rescue and I am now withholding judgment until the final longitudinal survey is complete, i.e., after the kids go through puberty. We'll know a lot more then. At a minimum, our speculation will be reduced.

If this were chess, however, you would be in check because you have married yourself to an idea which might be proven wrong. Since I am so ignorant [but not stupid], I am willing to wait until there is better science and better information. Thus, my ex ante "bah" could be justified, yet I am willing to agree with you if not. In other words, as a lawyer I have learned to make my wordsmithing slippery enough to account for all possibilities.vbg.

I called your ideas bunk because I like to debate you on occassion, regardless of the issue. You're a worthy adversary.
