I agree with you on all counts, and the destruction of America
is, well, witnessed in the destruction of the American dollar.
Get rid of Shrub, then maybe things will get better. At least
we will stop wasting lives and money in Iraq, for starters. Much
of that cash goes into some fat pockets of some crooks, I bet.
What's needed
is shock therapy to get rid of all imbalances (and all the
crooks that feed off these imbalances, the real power behind
all this escalating mess). The government
and the Fed are unwilling to do that unless that solution
is forced upon them. Things will have to get a whole lot worse
before they get better. In the meantime, being long gets
rewarded by financial markets, at least for now, and I think
with 25 bp. more already discounted, housing may even re-bubble
like it did in London after their cut. The Fed needs this,
and the stock market may be shouting loud it's coming. -g-
