thing or two about them.

I also have over ten patents of my own. But documenting your
own inventions tells you about as much about patent warfare
as a male baby's discovery of his own anatomy tells him about
all the ways men actually use it.

Unless you have gotten involved in the nitty gritty business
of putting IP to use defensively and offensively you are on
the outside of the door listening with a puzzled look.

Well, surprising things can be non-obvious. Symbol Technologies at least held the patent for using a barcode scanner in a handheld device. You'd think that would be an obvious thing, but...

It withstood several court challenges.
