Hillary Promoted Tax Hikes Saying They "Take Things Away From You" For "The Common Good."

"'Many of you are well enough off that ... the tax cuts may have helped you,' Sen. Clinton said. 'We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.'"

OK How about this:

We just agree that some folks got too much rich and that is not fair and we going to fix it. I am thinking of the Gates, the Buffets, the Trumps, the Clintons, the Heinz-Kerrys, the Edwards, the Oprahs, the Waltons, etc.

We going to share the pie equally just to be fair.

Here's what we do.

1. Void the current dollar and any and all property rights.

2. Give every registered citizen over 18 a debit card with $300,000 credit.

3. Put all the real estate (include the furnishings, artwork etc) and public and private companies and all the other stuff that has not been spirited out of the country or buried in an undisclosed location on EBAY. The real expensive properties could have shares like the companies do, make sure there is like a float of 1M shares each for everything.

4. Then, everybody start bidding and spends their stash. You could buy like a house, maybe the one you are now living in or maybe a little more posh place, you get to keep it and all that's in it if you are the winning bidder or share if you only get a partial ownership.

5. Let everything settle out and see where we stand.

6. Then since we will all be equally rich, we will need some workers so we could invite the Mexicans up from down south to do the work that we would no longer want to do.

OK I would like to know what Robert Reich thinks about this Populist Economic Plan (PEP), we could call it a Brand New Day or a Fresh Start, or Do Over or something more catchy like Loose Change, Inconvenient Truth or maybe just call it "Sharing".

It seems I saw something like this in "Dr. Zhivago" a while back.

It's worth a try just to make life fair.
