Yeah, OK. The problem with social programs was not the philosophy per se, so much as it was the implementation. We are just now discovering ourselves. Women have only given full rights for a few decaeds in all of our history, for instance. Women did not get teh vote until 1919 and we had segregation until 1964. Those are both second grade thinking at best. We are till pretty immature as a society. We need to learn to how to deal with people's lazyness, greed and dishonesty and still dispense compassion.
